Mended Hearts Chapter 200 Supports Veterans Administration Medical Center in DC

At the request of the Dr. Gregory Trachiotis, Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Director of the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC, Chapter 200 began visiting cardiac patients in June of 2017. The effort was spearheaded by David Horan, Mended Hearts Regional Director, and himself, a Marine who had undergone open heart surgery. This represents the first time any Mended Hearts Chapter has offered ongoing support to our veterans.
